New album- official!

Weird thing is that everyone think it's too much electronic, except me, because I'm the one who always talks how electronic is bad.

I don't think it's that electronic, standard: keyboard, drums, guitar... all good, well except tetris part. But I can listen that few seconds.

Look at Post Blue and ESR, and you'll see this is not electronic that much.

To sum up, I like it. Much more then Ashtray Heart, less then BFTS, but it tells me that this album is going to be BIG! Artwork is also good.

And I love how Brian's voice is clear, and his English...

I won't be home tomorrow to see the video. :(

ESR is electronic but it's not so pop-ish like FWIW. As for Post Blue, at least it's not a single. I feel sad

I think FWIW is very radio friendly. And a good choice for a single.

No, it's not pop. With all those guitars and drums it's definitely not pop. Britney and things like that are pop... It's not even pop-ish in my opinion. I'd say that for Ashtray Heart maybe before then for this one.

I'll haven't had chance to listen yet, fingers crossed I'll like it !

This morning I've read positive comments about the video on Russian sites and decided to watch the video...

The video is good but I can't say it's something special. Brian looks like Brian, so, Nada, you sould not be afraid. Stevie is ok. The worst part is definitely Stefan. His pathetic thin fringe, the way it trembles when he shakes his head, he looks so odd and absurd, it's just awful. When will he be tired of this crap on his head? It gives his troubles and gets into his eyes, it's inconvenient. He can't deal with this type of hair style. He looks like an idiot

^ You're lucky Steffie won't read that. But, yes, I agree, he have some strange head moves.

I watched it, but I must go now. Full opinion in few days, but I like it.

hummm, that vid reminds me of 'Skins', have u girls ever watched it? a Brit-TV series. I mean, those the short pieces of phrases labeled on everyone appeared in the vid, those seemed kinda similar to the style of SKINS.

I realized something in For What It's Worth, the start of the song reminds me of Bruise Pristine, the end of Black-Eyed, and video is like This Picture.

I like it.

I've never heard of 'Skins' but I like the lable thingie And, yes, it reminds me of This Picture too

Btw, have you noticed that there was a microphone next to little Stevie? He even touched it. Will he also do back vocals for Placebo?

I think it's hardly possible for him to sing while drumming because he tries to hard and shakes his head so much while drumming, he's too busy with drumming. But he actually can sing, I posted the links to songs of his project in which he's a vocalist on the previous page

I just looooove the song! yeah,it really reminds of sound from their first album...but it's cool anywayz although I dislike Brian's hair

I think Brian looks the best and as young as if he in his 20s again. Stefan looks pretty too despite his fringe, his shirt seems old-fashioned to me and he's all as if he came from the past, from the last century. His cheeks are plump. And yeah, Hitler's hair

I agree Brian does look as if he's in his twenties again, so young and carefree, Stefan does seem to look like he's from another time, but still handsome. I think Steve looks sweet as well . Very nice, haven't had chance to listen to it properly yet, just had a peep, love to see our boys look so well .

OMG...this vid made my day...

1. the first 10 secs, when Brian said 'Lucky You' and blinked his eye, Stef blew a kiss, the sound is recorded...

2. Brian looks so young and amazing, it was hard for me to believe that he's actually 36!!! omg, he must get botox or he's a witch who had the magic power to absorb vitality of youth from other young ppl around her...e.g. our young little Stevie

3. shave your face Brian! you cant have that sideburn as long as you've got long hair and, tits!!!!!!!!!!!

4. When it comes to Steve, well, it seems really difficult for Brian to figure out a proper answer. I noticed that both Brian and Stef frowned bitterly as if it hurts when get forced to memorize even a little bit of things happened around their split. I can tell that they were actually, maybe they were always reluctant to part with Steve.

5. I was really comforted when I heard that Brian talked about that he and Stef got everything started since 1994 and it was unimaginable for them to give it up and it was never an option.

6. That kid is a kid indeed. He's not a younger bro, he's just a kid. Admittedly he's cute, energetic and modest, but still I'm not used to this new trio imgae of Placebo since at the same time the other two adults seem too mature.

7. The interviewer is an idiot, kept casting silly questions. oh come on!

8. Brian still has a bad taste of his appearance, especially the clothing part which makes him seem to be much fatter in front of the camera-lens than he really is. His image switched between a fat granny and an adorable gorgeous beauty, all throughout the vedio...well we need to admit that sometimes he's not that telegenic.

9. Stef is utterly what he used to be, except for that piece of weird fringe...plz get it cut, cut it off Steffie! I'd like him talk more often next time, but that would be not 'Stef' at all.

10. Brian's laughter in the end kinda scared me...

^ I agree about 10. Not agree about 3rd. Well, I don't agree about anything when it comes to Brian's hair except for Meds era.

And when I think a bit more, Steffie is so not original. He just copied Steve's hair, forgetting that he's not the kid anymore and that that hair looks much better on Steve.

I just watched one video on Placebo's myspace called Behind the scenes with RUTH behind, and I really can't believe how great they were looking just tree years ago. And I can't believe that hair can do that much in person look. Still, I'm happy that in my opinion music stayed in their style, and I like it.

I think the sideburns look weird too, they don't go with the lovely hair and the boobs ! I think it must be the clothes, because he looks fatter, not complaing though, nothing wrong with that !He'd probably be horrorfied at the thought lol !
