I can't remember Brian to have laughed this way at Stefan or Steve. Though I like Forrest's drumming too and his singing, it's very sweet.

But still I'm not that used to Brian with such a heavy make-up on stage, bit of scary to me.

BTW, some of the pics seem really weird, the distortion of the images is somehow unaccepted...maybe the photographer made a wrong choice of camera lens, must be a super wide angle one. judging from the pics' quality it must be CANON, perhaps CANON 5D + 16-35mm/F2.8.

So am I. But it looks modern and more functional than the previous one. And too complicated to me I don't like that the discography is in the band section now and that they deleted all old pics with Steve Hewitt But what I definitely like is that fans can watch videos (and the quality looks good, better that on youtube) on the official site and listen to a few of old songs. I think it's very important for young fans who have just got into the band

And the idea of flicker links is good too

For now, I can say songs are good, but only one bought me at first listening - Happy You're Gone. WOW. Can't wait that in great quality. Lyrics are beautiful. <3 It's on my head all the time.

About new look of official site, it's modern, I'm still not used to it, but it'll take just few days till I will like it completely. Yes, they could leave some more history with Hewitt. 10 years is a long time...

They uploaded 5 official videos to vimeo.com, so links come from there, not from youtube. I suppose that's why the quality is good

I guess I'll change my mind completely when I hear album. Right now I enjoy listening Devil in the details, Julien, Come Undone...

Actually, the fact is, it's hard to pick a song that i dislike...Julien and come undone are also of great arrangement...

I may change my view about PLACEBO, you know, i used to think the miracle of PLACEBO had already ended cuz they reached their peak in 1998 with WYIN and it was hardly possible for them to duplicate it. However, this new album just overturned all my former assertion. It's real for real that they regain their initial vitality, just like Brian said in an interview, REJUVENATE. I'm so proud of never losing faith in them as well as being so addicted to them for years.

And it is so great to have albums like this in a world so hasty lusty. It's just impossible for those new emerged bands to be so successful as their predecessors were during the late 80s and all thruout the 90s. Yeah admittedly they did a great job in making everyone happy, but the music itself is somewhat superfacial coz the world we live in is skin-deep which honors efficency rather than real quality. Ppl get overwhelmed by their numerous desires and finally lose the sensitivity to so many precious moments and things that we used to care.

ahaha sorry for being a little bit loquacious, i'm just really really happy about the whole stuff. cant wait to hear it in a decent form.

My favs are Devil In The Details and Come Undone, on the second place are Julien, Happy You're Gone and Speak and Tongues. Can't feel Kitty Litter and The Never Engding Why, I'll probably wait for the studio versions. I mostly like what I hear too. And it seems that they still can make breathtaking songs.
