Just found this on suckerlove

This reminds me of these:
http://girlsgonepunkblog.mtv.com/2007/08/18/placebo-the-sex-and-the-drugs-and-the-complications/
We are interrupted by the sound of a bicycle bell and Olsdal turned his
head and laughed while saying, “Speak of the devil!” in the direction
of Molko waving to Olsdal. Olsdal turned back to us and joked, “HAH!
His little gay wave on his little gay bike!”
This reminds me of these:

Re: Placebo Articals
here's the promised article:
Just before the concert in Brno at the Hala Vodova i had a chance to talk with the frontman Brian Molko(34).
Reporter: What's new with Placebo after one year passed since your last visit in the CzechRep?
Bri: We are still on tour, there's no time for composing new material, so we won't release anything the next year. It's exhausting. Like now, we've spent two days of travelling from Kiev.
Have you become a father?
Hey, that's a personal question,i don't want to answer that.
Are you planning something new in the film territory?
Surely not. I don't have any ambitions in this way. That few experiences were pleasant, but i'm focused on music. It doesn't change the fact that i'm a passionate viewer. At the university, i wrote one scenario, but it never became realized and i think it never will be*laughs*.
Unhappy Pumpkins
What do you think about launching concert bootlegs and its sharing?
I don't have anything against it. It's fine when you can see a video on youtube.com of a concert that happened yesterday. I know our fans often record our concerts and then they launch it. I think it's fine.
Do you think that a band can get more promotion on the inet than on MTV?
It depends on an ability of labels. There're bands who became known on their own, but if there's a label standing behind you,i think, that there're more effective ways how to get the music to people.
What do you think about the recent wave of reunions?
I think that if a band reach the top and then brake up, it's not very wise to reunite after all those years. For example the return of The Smashing Pumpkins doesn't seem to me wise.
What influences you on the current scene at the most? Have you been touched by Emo?
Nothing particular. There're loads of music, but in my opinion there's really a tiny part of musicians truly creative. None of actual trends influences me.
Smith is cool
How did happen the concert contribution with Robert Smith from The Cure?
I can't remember exactly whose idea it was,but we are friends for years. We meet quite often,so it was natural and cool.
Placebo made a cover of I feel you from Depeche Mode. Have they contacted you?
Yeah, yeah, they were amused *laughs*. Recently we don't plan any new cover.
Presentsss
Brian Molko has one of the most dedicated fans and especially females. On the Internet you can find plenty of poems blessing him, amateur portrets using his photos and whole webs for his honour. Of course fans send and bring him even different gifts. "I'm getting plenty of nailvarnishes, lipsticks and pornophotos. And people are giving me their antibiotics.I don't think that's what i really need now."
tipical fan-poetry from the web page brian.molko.free.fr
Ocean Of Tears
Since this morning I am crying
Drowned in my own salty tears
I prayed that you´d dive in
And rescue me from my fears
You did not come
I am all alone
I whisper your song
And feel you´re breathing along
It´s too late
I fell in love
It´s my fate
I´ll Never be blessed by your Love
i apologize for any mistakes you might find, i hope you like it,it took me one hour

Re: Placebo Articals
Lyska, thank you very-very much
But I realize, they need some rest after such a hard tour, so I'll be pathient in waiting for a new album

Why? He isn't glad to be a father anymore? Though he's right on the other hand. It's not our business .Katelys wrote:

After all I like his reticence and his inner part more than Stef's now
I think it's quite normal.

I read only a part of it. So I can't say my opinion now. On the other hand it's nice Linkin Park fans are not crazy about Placebo. They don't give them a superiority complex
I found another interview. Haven't read it completely too. Just noticed a phrase
"We also share underwear, but they’re clean underwear.”
Ahhhhhhhhhh, what a shame

To be true, I try not to read Stef's interview. The things he tells piss me off so often No mercy to my nerves

it's quite annoying that they've spent so much precious touring time in America, where people don't appreciate their music enough.. but, as he said, it is a challenge for them.. and it probably brought them a few american fans.. that was the point after all..
I liked the conversation about books too
Right now all we want to do is go home and hibernate until Christmas.
hehe.. I imagine the three of them under a Christmas tree.. playing with Cody.. sharing presents .. (i guess i have too much free time to think about such things..) and theeen... back to the studio for a new albuuum.. can't wait.. lol..
I like this part:
Sure, but that's not necessarily a problem. It takes a certain amount of self-discipline and flexibility to play songs for people that you wouldn't necessarily choose to play for yourself. You have to find a connection to it, otherwise it's a lie. You don't want to go onstage and lie. So you're kind of put on the spot and put in a position where you have to find a connection to these songs. Otherwise you might as well not have even bothered to do so in the first place. You've buried these songs somewhere. You have to exhume the corpse, and you have to make it beautiful. And the only way you can make this corpse beautiful is by breathing new life into it.

Actually this is the part I hated the most. When they have so much of self-disciplin and flexibility to find a connection to the songs, why do they hardly play Pure Morning or Nancy Boy here in Europe?!
IMO it's just because they have fans over here who pay for their stuff anyway and they also want more fans in the US to pay for their stuff... Short: it's all about money...
I really don't like that thought myself but that's how I see things...
