Oh my gosh!! The gig was fantastic! I still can‘t believe that I saw them live!
Well they played less songs then in Latvia and they didin‘t played space monkey.
But in any case I liked gig very much!
That was one hot moment, when the concert started, came Stef and Brian and they kissed!!
Gosh I scream out my all voice.
Setlist : infrared, because i want you, meds, drag, soulmates, i know, song to say goodbye, follow the cops back home, every me every you, special needs, one of a kind, without you i'm nothing, blind, special k, the bitter end, running up that hill, 20 years.
I can not believe that everything ended , was awesome

Thanks a lot for your review and the pics. The setlist was really a bit shorter than in other gigs But as long as you enjoyed it it doesn't really matter

Apparently it wasn’t for money/publicity, whatever. They said in an interview that the kiss was a reaction to Vilnius government speeches about gays. they read somewhere about that before the show and conceived a plan to tease Vilnius mayor.
And as for the question of money, that they do everything for money, this is their job. It’s not only: we love music, let’s make art.
That doesn’t mean that I think it’s ok to do anything for money. I really don’t think it was for money. Everyone can see that it was planed, but it was made to make a statement.

I think their early image was more "for money". Brian and Stef wore dresses, kissed anf flirted more often. Stef says before in Latvia, in 2001, they kissed as it was funny

Don't be so rude. They know that they have enough fans in America, they know that they can attract more fans if they tour there, they know they can do it. So what do you want them to do? Forget about American fans who waiting for them and play in small cheap London clubs and in British villages? Yeah, and nobody will say then that they are commercial. They are famous all over the world so it's natural for them to play with Linkin park and My Chemical Romance. If they were a 100 % commercial band they would call themself Backstreet Boys or N'Sync. There are a lot of bands who are well-known in Britain and America and nobody says that "they are all over the money". For example, Depeche Mode and U2.

I was just drawing a personal conclusion about what they were and what they are now in MY opinion. So you'll need to cut me some slack.
If I'm into Placebo that doesnt mean that I have to like and understand every single move they make [not that I would care about that].

And I don't find it natural for them to play with LP and MCR.
Cause you mentioned these old boy band names, in my opinion, LP are as famous as BB were in their field. It's just a 'different kind of music', but it's the same shit.

The thing is that I don't like the type of bands they associate with, bands that will make them more laughable and preppy. That's not Placebo, Placebo is more than that.
