i think drink you pretty is a very underrated song...

I know, I don't want to think about how devastating that song for me is: the voice - on verses, culminating with that slightly perceptible whiny tone at the chorus, the clean feeling, the odd reverse-effect expressing everything it has to say so well without words, THE LYRICS, the guitar, the sober low-key note in which the whole song is played, it's like the person tells his story and is finally accepting something that knows will never change (with a sad look and a smile upon his face every time he remembers this).

All my pain and suffering in time, passed through this song

everything ties so perfectly together in that song
that whole "tired" tone of the music and the words describing a state well after having given up...
