I definetely love this song.It's my favourite, especially because of the instrumental part It has so much power,determination,strength and it passes this emotions to me!Wonderful song!

I totally agree with levy cause this is my favorite placebo song too and i've explaind why in another topic

Black-eyed was the first song from Placebo i loved.-i could spend all day by listening to it and it's still my favourite.....the drums are amazing!!

"This song says that it's time to take responsibility for your actions and whatever happened to you in the past, you have to reach a point where you stop moping and you have to keep going forward and you can't blame everything on your parents. But in many ways it's an autobiographical song and it's what could happen if I allowed myself to wallow in self pity."

Funny is that it has the same effect on me,I mean whenever I hear it I feel I should take some action and just keep going and try to do my best!It's another reason why I like this song so much

i'm ashamed to say that i first thought that this song is about brian's black eyes-yea, i know his eyes don't have black colour anyway:-)i didn't know it has a different meaning until we were learning about health(on english lesson) at school! *very ashamed*

you don't have to apologize,i was laughing too when i realized how stupid was my first thought about the lyrics it sometimes happen when you translate with dictionary

my first placebo mp3 *dreamy mood* I still remember how I used to listen to it over and over untill someone from my fam would come and say...change the damn song. some good times :D
