I like this song very much.It makes me feel like about to enter a strange world,an unreal one.One of the best Placebo slow songs!

Well, it’s one of my favorite songs, and for some time it was “obsessed” with it , I would listen to it for hours, it had a hypnotic effect on me…. It was the first song I liked from placebo, so it has a more special meaning then the other songs. I love everything about it, the music, the lyrics, Brian’s voice, the emotions…..and the performance at Hurricane is just incredible.

well what can I say about My sweet prince?.......i adore this song but I can listen to it only when i'm in a specific mood(usually when i'm sad) and about that Hurricane performance : is he crying or it's just my imagination ?

Yup....I think that too^.Although I cannot know for sure...I think he wasn't feeling very well,or maybe he was too high Anyway,I would also like to know if he cried...

Just in case you didn't know this thing: Chasing the dragon=inhaling vapors of heroin or cocaine heated on tin foil or crack and heroin.at the beginning i didn't knew that this was a song about drugs addiction and when i found out i was really shocked .Also the story about the girl impressed me .....

What I've heard is that Brian wrote this song after splitting up with his girlfriend, who wrote on the wall "My sweet prince, you are the one" when she was leaving. It was very hard for both of them and I read that Brian had said that after splitting up 6 days in week he went to bed thinking about suicide. Soon after this his heroin period started. Heroin became his best friend, so it seems that in the song 'my sweet prince, you are the one' refers to heroin. Fortunately there were people who saved Brian.

Well, of course, there are several versions. Each person has heard something a bit different than other.. And, yeah, we'll never know, unless we meet Brian , though he wouldn't tell us things like that. After all it's quite a personal thing, you know.
