The girl describes lyrics of songs

Kitty Litter, the first song was amaing, I can't remember the lyrics to it but there were "perspire " and "desires" in the lyrics, I thought it was very good, and then Ashtray Heart; Steve and stefan were singing "lalala"'s ( ) or something like that, it was slightly more pop than anything else but still good neither the less, the main lyrics for the chorus were just "Ashtray Heart".

Speak In Tounges is one of my favorite ones, the beguinning is pretty.. Island like? I can't really word it but it was pretty amazing. I believe that the first line is "Kitty came back to the Island" and another lyric I remember is "slave to history and sciene".

I can't remember any lyrics to Julien; Stefan danced throughout the intro, moving his hips, it was fantastic. Its a slow song and shows off Bri's voice intensly.

The Never Ending Why is one of my favorites of the new songs, I believe the chorus goes "Time (can give you the awnsers?) , But he doesn't have enough time, To give you the awnsers to The Never Ending Why" it was really good. Devil In The Detail was also a good song, and I believe it is about Molko not being able to write the songs he wants to, there was a lyric that was something about that - And at the end there is a bit, like at the end of Battle For The Sun, were he sings "But I dont have enough energy to fight", or something like that.

Glad Your Gone was another revengefilled song in traditional Placebo style, I believe its about someone lying? I remember that one of the lyrics were something like "Every time you cry I hope you taste me." or something along those lines.

Come Undone was another amazing song, I believe the main lyric is "You dont know how your coming across", and the chrous following on "...so you come undone." There is a big instrumental bit in it I think, but that might just be live I'm unsure. There is also a line being something like "And you don't give a toss"

Erm, thats it really. Brian introduced Stefan as his husband -swoon-, and said that Steven was the brightest thing that he'd ever seen. There were fans from Italy there and Bri was like "Stevens from America - Italy is a country in europe" in a patronising mannor, it was funny. ( )

Everyday something new from Placebo, it was great to see clips from the gig, aw ponytailed Brian so cute. And as you said Angina, so cute and girlish on the Kitty Litter clip, what a fantastic show it must have been. And I missed the Steve Lamacq show, was stuck in a post office queue, so grateful for that upload !

I just noticed that Brian said that the touring setlist would not include songs from the first album...a little bit disappointed. Actually that's my favorite. Humm, wait a minute, is that becuz the new stuff resembles the first one in many ways(judging from FWIW, Ashtray Heart and Kitty Litter Clip)? If so i would be reassured. But still i hope he would change his mind, all i need is a live show including 'I know'.

crying for the new songs!!! Kitty Litter is fucking brilliant and it does sound like Sonic Youth stuff. And it's totally not sunny pop melody. Julien is also beautifully arranged. To be honest I'm not that into Speak In Tongues, maybe I need a littlbe bit more time to listen to it.

And the former Kitty Litter clip posted by Katya was actually part of Happy You're Gone. Do pay attention to the introduction before the song, Brian called everyone his music partner in crime, but when it comes to Stef, he reiterated the term 'my partner in crime for 15 years' without mentioning 'music'...XDDDDDDDD to me that is very very important.

Some news about the English concerts.

Brian got sick of the security shining lights into the audience to stop people taking photos so he stopped the camera ban about halfway through. Hopefully there will be a small influx of photos and videos from the second half of the gig tomorrow.

Seems the rest of songs are slower in a rockish way to me and in the Meds style. I mean Julien and Devil In The Details (reminds me of Follow The Cops Back Home), Happy You're Gone. I like them all, at least in live versions I've just heard on youtube.

^yeah, me feel the same. They didnt have eye contact at all, i mean in the interview. Stevie kinda lacks the disposition that PLACEBO requires its formal member to own...i really dont think it can be cultivated by time. But he did a great job indeed, much better than I used to consider it would be.

I prefer Kitty Litter and Happy You're Gone, I guess no one would actually dislike HYG XDDDDDDD
