I read on YouTube people are thinking that this song is too much like Hotel Persona. I must agree with that. I don't think that's a good thing, HP is HP, and Placebo is Placebo...

Listening it more, I see how poor that refrain is.

Ha-ha-ha, why it sounds like HP? Because it contains a line in Spanish? Maybe then 'Te Quiero, Puta' by Rammstein is like HP too? No, in my opinion Ashtray heart is much more harder, faster and more intense than HP... Though I need to hear it in HQ firstly It's really difficult to understand how electronic the song now. And I like the words in Spanish, they give the song some special charm and sensuality

A little offtopic concerning the new drummer. Stevie Forrest can sing

This is likely to be the last Florence E Florentino (no, there isn't anyone in the band by that name) show for perhaps two years. The drummer told me that the singer joined the internationally known British band Placebo... he will be playing drums in that band, and they are going on a world tour which will last 2 years! So.. congratulations to Steve.

Some of you might be wondering if I met him. No - both times I've seen this band, there's been too many people clustered around Steve, and I didn't want to wait a really long time just to say "Awesome Show Dude!" (Staying too long in small crowded places makes me feel restless..I tend to leave after the music is over.) He seems like a nice guy, though.. He's good buddies with several people I know who are part of the music community in the Modesto area.

MATT: Sure. Well Steve was In a band called Evaline and I was in one called Fairwell Madison. Our bands were popular around here so we became friends. We dated girls that were best friends so we hung a lot and became best friends

For Steve, I like his lyrical content and the way his simplicity has soul.. and I love his charisma on stage

I love Steve’s voice and the way he can put it out there. I love Chris’ ability to adapt and learn. I just love playing music with them.

I've just come home from work and the song is already availiable. I'm shocked. It's so unexpected. So maybe I'll be biased.

To me it's really a hard pop. And I don't like it. I don't like that it's so electronic. It's something between Modern Kids and The Chemical Brothers. It has a 'dirty', i.e. complexed sound of The Chemical Brothers but I don't like those toy, dolly voices in the chorus. Though i's just the first sight and can change my opinion later.

I like the artwork though. It matches the song.

I think it would be better if it was more "normal"

it reminds me of 'the music', which is a brit-band I loved for years. I'm kinda into electronic these years so I can easily accpet they going electronic like this.
