I feel sorry for him, whatever happened it must feel terrible for him to see something he was part of for so long carry on without him, people he was close to now no longer friends, and what's been said about him,poor guy . weep

I'll certainly give his work a listen .

Summer Sonic Osaca：Brian Molko collapsed on stage, causing show stopped; Today he's okay and is leaving for UK

Placebo was supposed to give a show at 15:05 pm in Osaka Japan. After playing the intro-song 'Kitty Litter', frontman Brian Molko suddenly collapsed on stage, causing the show stopped. Stefan was apparently concerned and was a bit nervous about what happened. Brian was taken off stage by the staff.

Then due to 'Brian's strong headache', the show could not be restarted. Steve was on stage to apologize and comfort the fans.

Information from Solitary Records

Placebo gig in Summer Sonic Osaka was cancelled due to Brian's health condition. The official site will keep the fans up with information and updating announcement from the band as soon as possible. Touring for several months, especially the tight schedule is responsible for his feeling sick. Thanks to the fast medical aid， Brian is all right when he's leaving for UK.

The band feels sorry for what happened in Osaka, 'Once Brian's health condition back to normal, we are sure to be here again.' Said Stefan and Steve.

Thanks for this info, Agina. I read on the Russian forum that Brian had fainted at a concert in Japan and I felt totally shocked. I was afraid it was a symptom of some awful disease. Good to know some official info right now though still we don't know why it happened. I hope he will be ok sad

i feel sry for him. he's not that young at all, he should have known better...he wont be able to cope with that many gigs. i'm sad.

all he need is to get enuf rest...

Oh, I'm still afraid that it can be a symptom of some disease. But let's hope it's only because of tiredness. And it's very nice of Steve to stay on stage to apologize and comfort people. When in 2007 in Portugal they left the stage without saying a word, the fans were in panic, some cried. He is nice and kind, with every little fact about him I learn, I like him more and more.

I think he's forgetting he's not as young as he was and can't keep up with the kid !!!! He also has B12 injection, which means he has a condition where he tires easily ( my mother does also ), he's been seriously overdoing it, still scared it's something bad though ! cry

Awful, watching that, he seemed to lie there for so long, he was still unconscious when they carried him off, he seemed so tiny too.
He said years ago he needed B12 injections, my mum has to have them it's a kind of defiecency, but you still get tired easily even with them, so he won't have aas much energy as other people. Was that Fiona walking with as he was carried away, I think Stef and steve didn't know what to do .

So terrible. cry
